FAQ

  • Are the rates negotiable for offices?

No, as a small business providing mastery level RDH’s, we follow the demand trends in the dental industry closely to construct a fee structure that is fair for offices, the temps, and the longevity of the company.

  • isn't 1099 pay illegal for rdh's?

No, not when they are employed by a staffing agency. A staffing agency is a platform to connect hygienists with available shifts at dental offices. When a temp works for HHS, they are covered under our insurance policies and are paid by the agency, NOT the dentist office. It IS illegal for a DENTIST to pay a hygienist as 1099, per the IRS laws. It is not illegal for a staffing agency. *for more guidance on how to handle 1099 pay, tax assistance, etc - please call and discuss.

  • When is payment from the office due to the agency?

Either the same day the shift is completed or upon receiving invoice from HHS.

  • Who do offices make checks payable to?

Checks can be written to Hyiene Hero Staffing LLC - this allows it to be deemed as business income for HHS and allows the office to claim the covered shift a overhead and not payroll (WIN/WIN!)

  • Will the temp hygienist ever cancel?

We realized you are calling us “to the rescue” and do everything possible to ensure 100% commitment to shift coverage - being said emergencies can arise within our own lives and we ask that congruent respect is given in said situations.

  • Does the office need to supply anything?

Only the standard supplies needed to provide patient care. The temp hygienist will arrive at the agreed time, in uniform, ready to start. Temps are encouraged to bring their own lunch at all times to aid in a smooth work day.

  • WHAT IS THE FEE AGREEMENT AND LIABILITY POLICY?

This document verifies that the office understands the HHS fees and agrees to pay the amount of compensation that applies to each shift.

This document also outlines all related liability concerns.

  • Will the same temp arrive everytime?

HHS will stive to abide by requests of the same clinician - due to many scheduling varaibles, this is never garunteed.
